F5 2017 survey shows that security requirements have accelerated the rapid popularity of application services

on January 11, 2017, F5 networks today released the "state of application delivery 2017". This global customer survey shows that the accelerated deployment of cloud computing has driven the demand for security application services, including network application firewall WAF, DNSSEC and DDoS protection. security is the first priority, and increasingly complex attacks are the biggest challenge: in order to cope with more and more hacker activities targeting applications, the security team has expanded beyond the traditional firewall and the surrounding enterprises. Overall, the three security service deployments in the plan include DDoS protection (21%), DNSSEC (25%) and web application firewall (20%).
